Tulip Table

The client’s brief was to modify this chest of drawers with the addition of a pietra dura top. Along with restoring some of the wood, the design has helped to bring the piece back to life as well as having added value.

Choosing the right shading of verde d’Arno was crucial to bringing perspective to the bunch of tulips. The red part of verde d’Arno is extremely rare and works beautifully here in the curling leaf.
